Strategy:  Established a brand identity and thought leadership platform to claim a credible position in the automotive/commercial truck markets and with the Federal government

Results:  Established a position in the top 3 of like-manufacturers in the market within one year through high impact events, executive visibility and hundreds of thousands of relevant media impressions

Goal:  Create employee advocates and users of an innovative new business model and e-commerce offering 

Strategy: Set a clear vision for the value of the new offering among employees through that instilled pride and support for the program and the people involved in creating it.  Educated employees on the benefits and functionality of the program and reinforced the cultural attributes required to implement  

Results:  Built employee recognition for the program which resulted in increased brand pride, employee advocacy for the program to their friends and family and significantly increased traffic to the site

Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures

Goal:  Manage the message to all stakeholders during the divestiture of a business from a Fortune 50 company.

Strategy: Identified all impacted stakeholders, defined needs and messages for each and strategically implemented targeted communication to all throughout the course of the divestiture.

Results:  Made all stakeholder groups aware of impacts of the divestiture to them and their businesses and indicated their high satisfaction with how the transaction and resulting communication were executed.

Goal:  Improve customer loyalty and increase sales with more than 1,000 customers for a Fortune 500 company

Strategy:  Designed and executed a best-in-class three day customer event including highly produced keynote sessions, more than 200,000 square feet of trade show and meeting space, dozens of training and information sessions and hospitality and entertainment

Results: Achieved 97% satisfaction rating among all attendees, launched several new products, introduced new customer support offerings and generated customer commitments and inquiries resulting in new sales

Goal:  Create demand in 4 key application areas for a start-up company.

Strategy:  Established unique value propositions for each market and application area, then designed and developed demand generation plans and the necessary sales tools to effectively deliver the message to the key customer audiences.

Goal:  Create a model to define and build customer experience maps for multiple businesses units of a Fortune 50 company

Strategy:  Collaborated with business and subject matter experts to create a pragmatic and executable customer experience mapping model designed to help businesses identify their customers’ key moments of truth and pain points throughout the purchase cycle

Results:  Increased revenue, reduced costs, improved brand equity and enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty

Goal:  Launch a new product into a mature B2B industry

Strategy:  Developed a comprehensive marketing communication strategy to uniquely position the product as a superior and cost effective solution in key target markets in the industry.  Generated awareness for the product, designed a lead generation management system to capture the opportunities and equipped the sales force with tools and training to close the sale

Results:  Product achieved high levels of awareness in key target markets and early sales hit all targets

Goal:  Increase recruiting effectiveness and acceptance rates and support successful employee on-boarding for a fast growing mid-sized company

Strategy:  Established an employee value proposition based on the company culture.  Built messaging and executed an internal and external communication program to amplify the employee value proposition

Results:  Hired nearly 500 people and successfully on-boarded them within an 18 month period with little employee turnover after two years.  Inspired a knowledge-driven, proud and customer-centric culture

Goal:  Establish practices and build the relationships necessary to create industry leadership and manage company reputation during times of crises/issues  

Strategy:  Identified and established necessary association membership relationships and committee positions, giving the company a voice in policy and industry priority setting.  Enhanced legislative relationships at the Federal, state and local levels.  Built crisis and issue management processes and templates and managed crises/issues with key stakeholders and the media when they surfaced

Results:  Influenced policy and priorities of critical importance to the industry and the company.  Ensured that the company had a strong network of key industry stakeholders. Effectively managed several potentially damaging issues with clarity, transparency and responsibility
